Margena Christian from Ebony posted this on twitter. I had no idea MJ was such an amazing illustrator! Like she says - a picture is worth a thousand words. Beautiful self portrait. Thanks Margena for sharing!
Even if you’ve failed ten thousand times, success is within your reach. Just because you’ve made mistakes does not mean you must continue to make them.
Simply realizing that you’ve made an error is a major step toward correcting that error and getting past it. The beauty of now is that it’s the end of your past and the beginning of whatever future you choose.
If you’re satisfied with where you’ve been headed, then by all means keep going there. If you’re disappointed with what has been, now is your chance to set a different direction for what can be.
Imagine how great it would feel to know that you’re successfully living life on your own terms. Imagine it, and then know that even now you can make that feeling real.
You already know that your actions have very real consequences, for you are living those consequences today. This is your opportunity to choose the consequences you most desire by taking the positive actions that will bring them about.
Always, success is yours to define and create. Choose now to make it happen.
Every year DJ Cassidy throws a really fun and well produced party for his birthday which includes surprise performances (this year it was Rakim and Bobby Brown) and lots of industry movers/shakers and celebrities in attendance. He was able to get the NY Public Library this year which is a beautiful venue.
Unfortunately I had a HORRIBLE experience though dealing with the door guy who went out of his way to be nasty and rude for no reason, so it put me in a bad mood and I didn’t stay very long. Everyone seemed to have a good time though.
Earlier in the evening I met up with friends for drinks at the Royalton Hotel which is always fun.
I spent my 4th of July holiday in LA with Estelle and her cousin Amma who was visiting from London. We attended Puffy’s annual white party which was co-hosted by Ashton Kutcher. It was a really beautifully produced event and nice to see everyone dressed up in white. The party had a spinning dance floor which was a lot of fun. My girlfriend Michelle Siwy attended with us. After the party we went and had sushi at Koi where we ran into Nick and Mariah before hitting the after party at Guy’s and Gals. It was way too crowded and we didn’t stay long but it was nice to be out and about in LA at events that had real nice NY vibe.

I went to London recently and had chance to rome the city with Estelle in her home town the first two days — of course we hitting up Top Show and Selfridges. She also had a show that Friday night at the New Market race course which was a lot of fun. There was a sea of thousands and thousands of concert goers there to see her and the energy was great. On my last day there I met up with Estelle’s dear friend Daren Dixon who also runs his own, highly successful international marketing company based in London. He was gracious enough to be my tour guide and we walked all over the city to conquer my to do my list of tourist sightseeing that I was determined to do before I left (Big Ben, London Eye, Buckingham Palace, Notting Hill, etc). Thankfully the weather was absolutely perfect. I’m madly in love and can’t wait to go back!

London cabs are the best! The two rows of seats in the car face each other inside so you’re able to sit across from the other passengers. Much roomier and more comfortable. Every cab car had its own personality. This one was really special with the british flag on its grill.

Here are some photos and appearances with Nick to promote the debut week of America’s Got Talent — which continues to rank #1 as the most watched season in the show’s history! Make sure you tune in every Tuesday and Wednesday at 9PM on NBC!

I can’t stop listening to Empire of the Sun's debut album Walking On A Dream. If you love MGMT you’ll love these guys. Here are the videos to their first three singles. A bit strange. Not really loving them or the fashion statement that they’re making - BUT the music is still really fantastic.
Yes. I know — it’s almost been a month since I last updated the blog. So sorry but I haven’t had time to be honest — but I promise I will update it this weekend. Pinky swear!
I have great photos from visiting London, attending the White Party for July 4th to to sitting on the movie set of Nick Cannon’s new movie and much more. I’ve been seeing lots of movies at the theatre also and of course eating at lots of yummy restaurants — There is so much to talk about!
The puppies have also been keeping me really busy also. They’re getting big and I finally took them outside for their first walk recently and they LOVE it.
Here’s a photo that I took of them today. More to come very soon! xo
