Joie Manda’s Birthday Dinner

Yesterday was Executive Vice President/General Manager for Asylum Records’ Joie Manda’s Birthday so we celebrated in the evening at Mr Chow in Tribeca, inside their private dining room downstairs. The setting was intimate with a great mix of people — everyone from Asylum Records President Todd Moscowitz, Russell Simmons, Nick Cannon, Cam’ron, Hot 97 Program Director Ebro, Angie Martinez, Miss Info, Head of Entertainment Marketing for Nike Dawn Baxter, Adrienne Bailon, Sirius Radio Angela Yee, BET Music Director Kelly G, Atlantic Records Executive Michael Kyser, Joe Budden, Jeff and Eric Rosenthal from Its The Real, Ginuwine, MTV Networks Executives Elena Diaz and Tuma Basa showed up. Drinks were flowing and we ate the usual favorites from the Chow menu - chicken satay, lettuce wraps, vegetable dumplings, shrimp rolls, lobster, Beijing chicken, green prawns, etc.

After dinner, the group party hopped. I left a bit early to pick up my mother and brother Tony from the airport who are visiting me for the next few days from Olympia, WA.
