Epiphany at SoHo House

Tuesday night I had dinner with one of the most stylish couples that I know - Lisa Chu and Coltrane Curtis at the SoHo House in the Meatpacking District. Not only are Lisa and Coltrane a perfect match as husband and wife, but also in business. They run a highly successful lifestyle marketing, special events and public relations agency called Epiphany Media which is in its fifth year of operation and a staff of 15 employees. We talked about everything from dinner recipes (Lisa knows how to make Miso Cod - my favorite) to our businesses/current projects we’re working on to rooftop parties in the summer time at their apartment in Tribeca (I promised to make the desserts - can’t wait!).

(Coltrane & Lisa - I took this photo in the elevator)

It was my first time having dinner at the SoHo House (Lisa and Coltrane are members). For those of you that don’t already know, it’s an exclusive members only club & hotel which has a fabulous pool on the rooftop (one of the best in the city - yes, this is where they shot Sex & the City).  I’ve been inside their hotel rooms a few times for photo shoots and once on the rooftop for drinks (it’s where Kelis and I had our first meeting). Every room is different and the design/decor throughout is gorgeous.

We dined on Mac & Cheese, shrimp, salad, calamari and I introduced Lisa to my favorite dessert wine - Moscato (it’s sweet and delicious).

(The loaf of bread they serve you when you sit down tastes as good as it looks. We were all trying to stay away from it, but couldn’t!)

(I had an endive salad w/pickled pear and walnuts. It was delicious except for the blue cheese. I don’t like blue cheese anything.)

The service was AMAZING. I’m definitely thinking about becoming a member since it’s a great place for meetings, entertaining clients and networking - not to mention the pool!

Here are some photos of SoHo House that I found online:
